Unfortunately, Walled In is a film with a great deal of potential that pretty much just falls flat on its face. Adapted from Frenchman Serge Brussolo's novel Les Emmures, Walled In is the story of a demolitions company agent who is staying at a mysterious building that she is about to raze, which holds many dark secrets and a history of grisy murder.

It's got an interesting plot and really builds up well, but sadly the rich, engrossing climb of the story mountain is all for nothing, as its peak is ridiculous and completely unsatisfying. There's nothing great or big about the great big twist that you would expect from the film's direction.

Mischa Barton and Deborah Kara Unger's performances are decent enough, but Cameron Bright's, a kid who's found recent success in the Twilight films, is really, really... really bad; as wooden as Zac Efron in Ikea. Overall, Walled In will probably leave you questioning what you just watched, not to mention disappointed.
